ONLINE THERAPY FOR WOMEN THROUGHOUT OHIO

Whatever you're carrying, we can make some room for it here.

You don’t need to know exactly what kind of therapy you need before you reach out. You may know you’re anxious or depressed. You may be going through something painful. Or you may just know that lately, you don’t quite feel like yourself.

I work with women throughout Ohio through so many different seasons of life- from college and early adulthood to pregnancy, motherhood, grief, relationships, trauma, and all the changes we don’t always see coming.

We can start with what’s happening right now and figure out the rest together.

A LITTLE NOTE BEFORE WE GET INTO IT

You don't have to fit neatly into a category.

Real life is usually more complicated than that.

Anxiety can show up alongside grief. Motherhood can bring up old family wounds. Burnout can start looking a lot like depression. A relationship change can leave you questioning who you are.

You get to bring the whole story.

The areas below are some of the things I most often help women work through- but they don't have to perfectly describe you for you to belong here.

Anxiety, Depression & Burnout

Anxiety and depression can make even ordinary days feel like a lot. And when you’ve been pushing through for a long time, it can be hard to tell where stress ends and burnout begins.

This is where we slow it down a little.

We’ll talk about what’s been happening, what’s making things harder, and what actually helps you feel better—not just for an hour after therapy, but in your real life.

You don’t have to keep functioning your way through feeling awful.

Anxiety · Depression · Burnout · ADHD · Stress · Self-Esteem · Body Image

Trauma & PTSD

Some experiences stay with us. Sometimes we understand exactly how. Other times, we don’t see the connection until much later.

I’m not going to ask you to tell me everything before you’re ready. Trauma work doesn’t need to be rushed to be meaningful.

We’ll take our time, build trust, and work on helping you feel more grounded and more in control of what happens in the present.

You get to decide the pace here.

Trauma · PTSD · Sexual Abuse · Family Conflict · Self-Harm · Relationship Patterns

Grief & Loss

There is no timeline I expect you to follow with grief.

Loss changes things, and learning how to live with that takes time. There can be sadness, anger, relief, guilt, laughter, numbness- and sometimes all of those in the same week.

You don’t need to make any of it sound better than it is when you’re here.

We can talk about who or what you’ve lost, what life looks like now, and how you take care of yourself as you find your way forward.

Pregnancy, Postpartum & Motherhood

I have a lot of room for complicated feelings about motherhood.

You can love your children and feel completely overwhelmed. You can be grateful and miss parts of your old life. Pregnancy and postpartum can be beautiful seasons, and they can also be lonely, exhausting, scary, or simply very different from what you expected.

You don’t have to clean any of that up before you bring it here.

For an hour, you get to be the person we’re taking care of.

Pregnancy · Postpartum · Motherhood · Parenting · Caregiver Stress · Anxiety · Depression

College & Early Adulthood

College and early adulthood come with a strange amount of pressure to know who you are and what you’re doing.

We can talk about school, friendships, dating, family expectations, independence, work, confidence, or the giant question of what comes next.

I’m not here to tell you what your life should look like.

I want to help you get quiet enough to hear what you think about it.

Relationships, Family & Life Changes

Families are complicated. Relationships change. Friendships change. Careers change. And sometimes the biggest shift is realizing that you’ve changed.

Therapy gives us somewhere to talk about what’s working, what isn’t, what you want more of, and what you’re ready to do differently.

There doesn’t always have to be a crisis.

Sometimes growing into the next version of yourself is reason enough to want a little support along the way.

Relationships · Family Conflict · Codependency · Boundaries · Caregiving · Identity · Life Transitions

And sometimes, you just know you need someone to talk to.

Not everything fits neatly under anxiety, trauma, grief, or motherhood.

Sometimes life has simply been a lot for a long time. You’ve been taking care of what needs to be taken care of, getting through your days, and realizing somewhere along the way that you could use a place that’s yours.

You don’t need a crisis to come to therapy. You don’t need to know exactly what’s wrong. And you certainly don’t need to wait until things feel worse.

We can start with what’s going on in your life right now and take it from there.

FEES & INSURANCE

Let’s make the practical part easy, too.

Individual therapy sessions are $175.

I work with Headway for insurance billing and accept several major insurance plans, including Aetna, Anthem/Blue Cross Blue Shield, Cigna/Evernorth, Optum, and UnitedHealthcare, among others.

Insurance benefits are different for everyone, so your individual coverage and costs will need to be verified before we begin.
